TR7/TR8 Gas Cap cable
Have you ever forgot to replace your Wedge's gas cap after a fill-up? It seems we all have at one time or another but usually we were lucky enough to catch our mistake before we actually lost the cap. Unlike today’s newer cars that have a retaining strap or a holder inside the filler flap door, Wedge owners place the cap on the rear deck or the fuel pump and sometimes forget to replace it. I can't tell you the number of times I have pulled over after a refill because I couldn't remember whether I had reinstalled my gas cap. Well those worries can now be alleviated forever!
I’ve developed a simple attachment cable that eliminates the chance of losing your cap. The cable is made from stainless steel and installation cannot be simpler. Just remove one screw down in the well to attach the cable to then pull the other end of the cable over the cap. It’s that simple and the best part is that the cable is invisible when the cap is replaced on the fuel filler.
